Building Peace & Empowering Communities
Since 2021, Organization for Peace and Development (OPD) has pioneered grassroots development initiatives led by Afghan women activists, creating sustainable change across Afghanistan.
Who We Are
Organization for Peace and Development (OPD) was founded in 2021 by a group of women activists with a shared vision to transform the Afghan community. We emerged from grassroots women-led initiatives dedicated to responding to community needs.
We believe sustainable development must be built on the voices and agency of those most affected by poverty and inequality. Community participation is central to everything we do, and we remain committed to fostering genuine partnerships with the communities we serve.
