Women Empowerment

Women are at the center of OPD — as founders, leaders and beneficiaries. Our women's empowerment program supports Afghan women to assume roles as community leaders, entrepreneurs and changemakers.

Through workshops, peer networks and skills training, we equip women with the tools they need to participate fully in economic, civic and household decision-making.

We work in close partnership with UN Women, UNDP and local women's groups to scale culturally-appropriate, sustainable interventions.
